What is wilson silverleaf? We're organitarians; it's best for our bodies and the planet. We cloth diapered Nina for the same reason. We drive a hybrid car & wish we could afford solar panels on our house. I'm a strong advocate for homebirth, full-time mom, & also a movie junkie. We don't have a tv though; we watch dvds on our computer. We love contradancing. I garden & knit; Larry's a puzzle lover & plays fantasy football.

I like to clap (and everybody better clap along with me)

Let's hear it, folks!

That's what I'm talking about

UH-OH!!
Last night, about 3 hours after Nina had gone to sleep, we heard "uh-oh" several times over the monitor. Was she talking in her sleep? We'll never know for sure, but it's too cute either way. Wonder what she was dreaming about...

I may not be willing to wear one hat, but two is a different story altogether

Let's talk about mischief...
1. Friday night we went to a potluck, where there was cake, yummy cake. I had set down my piece on a coffee table and turned away from Nina. When I turned back around, there was Nina, furiously cramming a huge piece into her mouth. It was too funny.

2. Today we went to a playgroup. The day was sunny and warm and the company was fabulous. Nina took a shine to one little girl and held her hand while they walked. Too cute. But then the little girl had to leave, and Nina decided it was too soon to say good bye so she just walked off to follow. I kept thinking that Nina would turn back, but she got farther and farther away and kept going. I had to go get her when she was almost out of my sight. The view from behind when Nina is walking is priceless, she walks like Charlie Chaplin as The Little Tramp, and she holds her arms up and bent at a 90 degree angle, surrendering to the next adventure.

Happy 15 month birthday Nina!
Today Nina had a busy day, starting with swim class, then a playdate, then a pediatritian's appointment (17lbs 1 oz and 28 1/4 inches tall), then a potluck where she stayed up way past bedtime.
Not only is she walking everwhere, but she can say a few words also: wah (water), buh (book), papa, ehwee (eloise), goohgooh (sugar), kahkah (cracker), daw (dog), beebee (baby), and the ever-useful UH-OH.
