What is wilson silverleaf? We're organitarians; it's best for our bodies and the planet. We cloth diapered Nina for the same reason. We drive a hybrid car & wish we could afford solar panels on our house. I'm a strong advocate for homebirth, full-time mom, & also a movie junkie. We don't have a tv though; we watch dvds on our computer. We love contradancing. I garden & knit; Larry's a puzzle lover & plays fantasy football.

Child of the '80s
We've been doing some potty training, yippee! Whenever Nina has a success, I say, "Awesome!" This morning, after a particularly successful session in the bathroom, Nina said

"Poop in potty. AWESOME!"

It like was totally frickin' rad.

Now you hav to teacher her to add a "wicked" in there somewhere and she'll be the coolest kid on the freaking planet!

Love her.

Wow Lorien, I was catching up on your blog and Nina's a completely different baby, just in the past month. As recently as July 18th's post she looked like the same old cuttie. Now she's like a big kid! Geoff's also doing some good work on the potty. Today I flushed for him while I was on the phone and had to explain that it was him not me that was doing the deed. Glad to see you're doing well.
