What is wilson silverleaf? We're organitarians; it's best for our bodies and the planet. We cloth diapered Nina for the same reason. We drive a hybrid car & wish we could afford solar panels on our house. I'm a strong advocate for homebirth, full-time mom, & also a movie junkie. We don't have a tv though; we watch dvds on our computer. We love contradancing. I garden & knit; Larry's a puzzle lover & plays fantasy football.

For those of you who don't know, Nina is still sleeping in the Arm's Reach Mini Co-Sleeper. It's tiny. Nina's not a big kid, but her head and feet touch the ends when she goes to sleep in it. A few months ago I thought she might want to sleep in a bigger bed and bought her a beautiful toddler bed off of Craig's List. The mattress that came with it was weird, so my mom got her a really comfy organic cotton and latex mattress. Still nothing doing. Then we thought that maybe if we hussied the bed up with a canopy like the one on the co-sleeper maybe she would sleep in it. Nope. She'll do it in her own time, or when we take the co-sleeper away, I suspect, but for the time being she's perfectly happy where she is, thank you very much.

But that doesn't mean she can't have fun in the toddler bed!

After all it is pretty cool in there!
