What is wilson silverleaf? We're organitarians; it's best for our bodies and the planet. We cloth diapered Nina for the same reason. We drive a hybrid car & wish we could afford solar panels on our house. I'm a strong advocate for homebirth, full-time mom, & also a movie junkie. We don't have a tv though; we watch dvds on our computer. We love contradancing. I garden & knit; Larry's a puzzle lover & plays fantasy football.

The Business of Being Born


I went to see The Business of Being Born (produced by and featuring Ricki Lake) at Ama Mama on Friday. Wow, it was amazing. I am a birth junkie, and seeing a movie that was packed with fantastic homebirths was a special bonus for me. The movie will not be playing at any other venue in San Diego, even after it is released to movie theaters, so get your behind to Encinitas to see it this week! It will be on Netflix when it comes to video, and I will probably buy a copy of my own, it was that wonderful.
