What is wilson silverleaf? We're organitarians; it's best for our bodies and the planet. We cloth diapered Nina for the same reason. We drive a hybrid car & wish we could afford solar panels on our house. I'm a strong advocate for homebirth, full-time mom, & also a movie junkie. We don't have a tv though; we watch dvds on our computer. We love contradancing. I garden & knit; Larry's a puzzle lover & plays fantasy football.

Banker's holiday

Monday we took a bus tour of Bristol in the rain. We sat upstairs on the bus to see better and got soaked but had a great time. Even though she got markers and paper from Dave the tour guide, Nina decided to sleep through the tour.

Okay, it might have been a little more fun if it was sunny, but this is England and it rains sometimes.

It turned sunny in the afternoon and while Larry and Nina went to the zoo, Lorien and I walked around the mall and saw Castle Park. We came home and made a fabulous dinner of leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, sauteed cabbage and Yorkshire Pudding, with mushroom gravy. And don't forget the amazing chocolate pudding for dessert. This was a serious digestive enzyme meal. I am gluten sensitive, but sometimes it's worth the pain.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) Lorien and I are going to rent a car and set out for Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Tintagel. Stay tuned for what it's like to drive on the wrong side of the road. Right now I'm a bit anxious about it.
