Nina hears a who

I took Nina to see her first movie in the theater. She mostly liked it but I had forgotten about the previews. They were for "kids" movies and tv shows but still most of them were scarier and more violent than anything she has ever seen.

And then there was this guy, Vlad the Vulture, who Nina found scary. She started out on her own seat next to me but quickly found her way onto my lap and stayed there.

All in all it was a pretty good experience but I think it will be a while before I take her to another movie. She really wasn't as ready for it as I thought she was.

That was Rams first movie. She did not like Vlad or the kangaroo.

Have you seen the previews for Wall-E? Joe showed the kids an online preview and they have been talking about it for months! It doesn't seem to scary, more adventure.

We took the kids to see that last month (their second theater movie, first for Jonas being older than a couple months though). Solana covered her eyes and ears for most of the previews; Jonas was in a lap the whole time too.

Yeah, Wall-E looks cute but I bet there will be parts that would be scary for Nina. It's ok with me if it's a while before her next movie. It was a decent way to pass time while Larry was out of town but not necessary.
